1856 Flying Eagle Cent. Snow-9. Proof-55 (PCGS).The classic 1856 Flying Eagle cent in handsome and highly desirable Proof-55 preservation. Warm, even toning in tan-olive is seen on both sides. The strike is nearly full overall, and the surfaces are free of significant marks or other blemishes.<p>This lot includes ANACS Photo Certificate No. LAA041 that assigns a grade of AU50/50 for this coin. A second ANACS Photo Certificate, No. A5093, determined the authenticity of this coin and also involved a transfer of ownership in April 1976. Also included is a cover tag for Photo Certificate No. A5093 and two ANACS mailing envelopes that are postmarked March and April, 1976.
