Exceptionally well preserved for the type, this piece sports warm medium brass color with mottled olive-gray overtones. Nicely made, as well, with a universally bold strike that includes considerable sharpness to Vernons portrait and throughout the reverse design. A few inoffensive spots are all that seem to preclude a higher Choice Mint State rating for this smooth and inviting piece.
