Countermark: Type V; crowned F.7.0 within circle. Applied to the obverse of a 1829-Do RL Mexico Republic 8 Reales. A lightly toned coin with moderate wear as befitting the grade. The countermark design elements are complete, though the recess is incomplete on its left side. The punch was tired at the time it was used to mark this coin as die chip is evident between the "F" and the "7".
