This medal was authorized by the Antwerp town council to commemorate the visit of Englands Queen Victoria to Antwerp during her first foreign trip. This medal exhibits a pleasing, uniform mahogany color and modestly glossy surfaces. An attractive memento of an important and historical event in Victorias young reign.
