ATTICA. Athens. AR Tetradrachm, ca. 393-294 B.C. NGC VF. HGC-4, 1599; SNG Cop-63. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Struck on an oblong flan, as is typical of this later issue. With a fair bit of circulation but no distracting damage or problems to speak of, this piece stands as a satisfying example of the iconic Athenian owl Tetradrachm at a more attainable price point.
