1835 Matron Head Cent. N-15. Rarity-2. Head of 1836. Unc Details--Improperly Cleaned (NGC). Frosty and almost fully lustrous, just rather dark in color having retoned from an old, light cleaning. Just a few tiny marks and spots, overall excellent eye appeal. Late die state and there are traces of doubling, perhaps even tripling, on the portrait and stars. PCGS# 37066. NGC ID: 225S.
