Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding scepter and eagle; in left field, forepart of lion left above phi; pentagram below throne. A sharply struck example with bold detail. The surfaces are attractively toned with hints of iridescent blue surrounding the devices. A highly appealing example of the type.
