Applied to the obverse of a 1810-Mo HJ Mexico armored bust 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII (KM-110). This nicely preserved and richly toned example displays an attractive slate gray in the peripheries and amongst the devices while the exposed areas feature a mottled gray coloration. The countermark is deeply impressed, even and clear on a wholesome looking host with plenty of remaining details. Ex: Ponterio C.O.I.N. (5/1987) Lot # 587.
