GUATEMALA. Copper 2 Reales "Unfinished" Trial, 1821-NG M. Nueva Guatemala Mint. Ferdinand VII. NGC MS-61 Brown. cf. KM-67 (for regular issue); cf. Cal-804 (same). Sporting fairly vibrant reddish-brown hues and a charming strike, this "unfinished" die trial displays the characteristics of the regular issue for the year, but on a copper planchet and with a bit less clarity of strike than generally encountered, possibly making this a somewhat later mint sport with the dies. Nevertheless, a <strong>RARE</strong> and intriguing piece.
