Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike; transverse spear in background, club to outer left, monogram to inner left; bow-in-bowcase and monogram in exergue. A fairly <strong>SCARCE</strong> posthumous issue that became a standard civic type, this lightly handled example presents charming gray surfaces with some elegant hints of brilliance residing in the protected areas.
