Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike and resting elbow upon shield; ΔΞ monogram to inner left; crescent in exergue. Exceptionally deserving of its fine style designation, this enchanting specimen presents a well centered strike upon each side, with an attractively toned flan of great metal. Overall, a resounding example that should generate tremendous enthusiasm.
