Lot of (3) Aviation-Themed Medals from U.S. Worlds Fairs in the 1930s.Included are: thick 69 mm uniface silver-plated Century of Progress medal depicting an aircraft in flight as Native Americans and pioneers look on; rare 63 mm silver (124 grams) General Italo Balbo silver medal depicting him and the route his Aerial Armada took from Rome to the Fair in Chicago; and a very nice 73 mm dark green plastic medal (or perhaps drink coaster) showing a flying boat over the Golden Gate Bridge. The back of this Golden Gate Exposition item extolls the virtues of the manufacturer of product, the American Molding Company of San Francisco. Grades are About Uncirculated to Mint State.
