A supremely attractive Gem example of the popular Dollar, this specimen defies all expectation with its bold strike leaving no weakness in the well formed design elements. Some gentle dancing luster hides underneath the layer of rich toning that is largely golden and plum in complexity. The surfaces are delightfully chatter free, with very little evidence of marking or handling seen. About as lovely an example of the type we have ever seen, and as such, we expect much fervent competition to be the next owner of this piece.
