About as close to Mint State as is possible, the present 1/2 Tael glimmers with brilliant luster and a radiating cartwheel ambiance. Some limited salmon toning is seen, and with almost no evidence of rub, this piece presents very well. Some marking is found on the reverse, though nothing too aggressive or disfiguring. A wonderful example of the very popular type is offered by the lot, making it certain to achieve many premium bids.
