Variety with "chahtai" on characters side, without rosette, and with dragon in inner circle without flanking rosettes. Amongst the most beautiful of examples of the type this cataloger has seen, the present 5 Mace can boast a general beauty about it that not many others can. The strike is comprehensive, a RARITY on Sinkiang coinage, with the present example being rather forceful in its details. Original mint luster is retained, with the details being coated in a through coating of toning that gives the surfaces sublime antique beauty. A lovely specimen from Sinkiang, and one that is assured a plethora of excited bids from the ever increasing number of specialists in this area of numismatics.
