拍品描述： 光緒二十四年北洋機器局造五角銀幣。珍罕而深受追捧的版别。细节俏丽，表面磨损极少。因曾经清洗而显得明亮，现已养出包浆。北洋造币一直是藏家宠儿，本拍品虽略有弊病，但仍是少见的人气版别。CHINA. Chihli (Pei Yang). 3 Mace 6 Candareens (50 Cents), Year 24 (1898). Tientsin (East Arsenal) Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details.L&M-450; K-192; KM-Y-64.1; WS-0619. Variety with round-eyed dragon. A SCARCE and demanded minor, this specimen is alive with handsome details and very little evidence of actual wearing on the surfaces. Though brightened from the cleaning, this specimen has toned over a bit, dulling the brilliance and giving the piece a more attractive appearance. Chihli pieces are amongst the popular of provincial pieces, and despite this examples drawbacks, it is still an uncommon and always demanded type.
