Generously toned warm amber gold, rich violet, and mottled cobalt blue across the obverse, this luscious Memento Dollar boasts remarkably smooth, consistent surfaces. The flat and flashy obverse fields are interrupted only by a small strike through, as made, directly in line with Sun Yat-sens eye. It appears to be an impression left by a metal shaving, though the obstructions true identity is a mystery. Quite a remarkable and unique example that will be prized by toning aficionados.
