Low five-pointed stars variety. Mottled with color of a mostly russet and plum toning, this vibrant and intoxicating example is quite RARE and desirable in this state of preservation. Though described by NGC as a circulated coin, this cataloger is unable to find any evidence of circulation across any of the design elements. Luster smolders underneath the toning, creating a visual circus when this Dollar is twirled in the light. A fantastic piece that should instigate feelings of zeal and enthusiasm in all collectors of Republican coinage.
