民国元年（1912）中国银行加盖大清银行伍圆，上海地名，编号607774，PMG 15，有轻微修补，PMG纪录中唯一之一枚，一般以横线加盖，本版别却以星状图纹加盖，异常特别，钞票上方有轻微修补，却不影响钞票主体设计，民国初期经典版别之一，珍罕!。
Bank of China, $5 overprinted on Ta Ching Government Bank, Shanghai, 1912 (original date 1909), serial number 607774, brown and black on blue, Li Hong Zhang at left, gazebo at right, the original Bank title and date overprinted and covered with a star within a circle and the new details printed below, reverse in similar colours and Bank title renamed BANK OF CHINA , Summer Palace at centre,(Pick 17i), PMG 15 Choice Fine (Minor Repairs). The ONLY note graded by PMG and a rare subtype with the circular star overprint rather then horizontal lines. A superb note with light repairs to the upper margin which do not extend in the main design. A classical Qing era design printed by ABNC. Phenomenally rare!
