Central vignette of sailors and boys preparing to fish. At lower left, Benjamin Franklin with boy showing bust of Washington. Seated Plenty with cherub at lower right. Superbly signed. Outlined “3" protectors and denomination dies to both left and right of the main vignette. Excellent color with green and black inks. A rare post-war City of New Orleans issue. The only other example we sold was in 2013, a raw Very Fine that sold for $1,292.50.
