The bank did not last long, forming in 1857 and being converted in 1864 to the First National Bank of, charter 121. The first proof we have sold on this bank. High denominations are just plain rare, with this being one of only two $20 Proofs known. Superb grade and eye appeal should make this a very desirable piece.
