Islamic - Shahs of Iran，SAFAVID: Sulayman I, 1668-1694, AR 10 shahi (16.76g), Isfahan, AH1196, A-2658, cf. Rabino-14, mount removed (as virtually always), lovely strike, VF, Scarce. Both the 10 and 20 shahi coins of Sulayman I and other later Safavids were struck for presentation purposed. It was at least theoretically required to be mounted on ones formal coat, and for this reason they are almost never found without having once been mounted.
