An elusive fully issued example of this highly sought after 1904 10 Taels note. This vertical format note depicts two portraits at the top, with roughly 3/4 of the note depicting facing dragons at center, with the pearl of wisdom between the two. Found at center is an intricately lathed geometric design. The underprint is comprised of a dulled-yellow color, and this looks highly attractive against the dark black primary design. The design on the reverse is in a dark green color, with a floral design seen at center. At top is CHINA in a neat font, with Kuping Cycee 10 Taels , Hupeh Government Cash Bank at the bottom end.
