Silver 2.25 Tael Bank Ingot, Year 8 (1883). Emperor Guangxu (De Zong). CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE. BMC-Class LXVI Group D. Weight: 79.61 gms. Guang Xu Ba Nian Yong Mao Wen Yin (Guangxu era 8th Year, Yongmao Bank, fine silver). The stamps are deeply impressed with crisp well formed characters, though the rightmost stamp does show slight doubling. This richly toned example exhibits minor earthen deposits in the protected areas of the stamps adding to its originality and charm. A rather SCARCE denomination from this series that seldom appears on the market.
