(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Jiangsu. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Suzhou or other local Mints. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded 85 by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company. Hartill-22.917. Weight: 53.0 gms. Medium Bao variety. Obverse: Xian Feng Zhong Bao ; Reverse: Dang Bai . This nicely preserved and attractive example boasts much originality and is pleasing to the eye. The high points are smooth and glossy with much remaining evidence of the finishing process displaying lovely rich mottled brassy patina. The open fields exhibit their naturally rough surface texture with minor earthen deposits adding to its eye appeal.
