CHINA. Kweichow. Brass 1/2 Cent, Year 38 (1949). PCGS VF-20. CL-MG.140; KM-Y-A429a. Variety with connected rosettes. A SCARCE type, especially when encountered problem free, this worn but nice example provides an overall caramel brown color, that lightens up as other portions of the design are reached. Wear, though moderate to heavy, is not effacing of the details, making this example a solid representative example from this popular issuer.
