1887-S Liberty Seated Dime. MS-66 (PCGS). Peripherally toned in iridescent powder blue and reddish-apricot, this frosty and sharply struck example makes a lovely impression in all regards. The 1887-S is a plentiful Liberty Seated dime issue in an absolute sense, thanks in so small part to a generous mintage of 4,454,450 coins. In the finest Mint State grades, however, this issue is rare. One is not likely to find a nicer coin at the MS-66 level than that offered here.
