Despite high mintage figures, "ABC" Pesos remain <strong>SCARCE </strong>in high grades because they were intended to be used as reserve currency, backing Cuban banknotes in circulation. Many were melted in 1957, yet, among only a handful of others, this Choice survivor was saved for collectors.
