In order to meet increase spending during World War II, the Iraqi government had ordered more notes from Bradbury, Wilkinson and Co. in the UK. But due to turbulent situations around the world, Nasik Security Printing Press in India was chosen to print the notes instead. The supply from India continued for 3 years until after the war where the contract was given back to Bradbury once again. Rare in this grade, a lovely example
