Crudely made, as is common for the type, this issue was minted from Church silverware on the order of General Maurycy Hauke, the commander of the Polish garrison in Zamosc. These were in circulation for just one day before the city surrendered to the Russian army. This type became valued at 50 Zlotys after the fall of the city.
