Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike; monogram to inner left, I on throne; K in exergue. A nice and fairly <strong>SCARCE </strong>gold issue from Byzantion, with good details and a strong strike, along with some underlying luster remaining. From a New York Collection.
