It is rather difficult to express the exceptional beauty offered by this specimen, a true Gem in every sense of the word, as it presents about as intense and vibrant color as can be expected from a copper issue. Hardly any brown is observed, with electrified hues of cobalt and magenta instead taking center stage. For the connoisseur of Chinese coppers, it would be a mighty feat to better the iridescent nature featured here.From the Hobart Collection.
