NJ-141. New Jersey. April 12, 1760. 6 Pounds. PMG Extremely Fine 40. No. 751. Signed by S(amuel) Nevill, D(aniel) Smith Jr., and Johnson. Printed by James Parker. Bold New Jersey coat of arms at left. Printed in red and black. This is the highest denomination from this very scarce and underrated series. A mere 1,875 were printed for the six Pound denomination. Top Pop at PMG. The casual observer may not realize it, but to find any note from this series that grades Extremely Fine and which is problem free is a miracle of survival. The vast majority of these notes are low grade and plagued by a host of problems.
