1896-S Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-62 (NGC). A predominantly brilliant, frosty-white example with intense mint luster on both sides. The 1896-S is a key date Morgan dollar issue that is much scarcer in Mint State than a generous mintage of 5 million coins might imply. It is also one of the dates included in the famous Redfield Hoard that was released in the mid-1970s.<p>
