1889 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS). Fully brilliant and certainly as bright as the day it was struck. Nicely detailed in all areas (not necessarily the case for Proofs of this period) including Libertys highest curls and the eagles breast feathers. The quality of Proof dollars declined starting in 1889 through 1893, many were poorly struck. A partial cameo appearance is noted, particularly on the reverse, but not quite enough to warrant that grade from PCGS..
