1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-3. Rarity-5+. Plain Edge, Punctuated Date. Fine Details--Damage (PCGS). Dark charcoal-copper surfaces retain plenty of bold to sharp detail throughout the design. Both sides are universally rough and microporous, although it is a concentration of digs and scratches in the center of the obverse that explains the PCGS qualifier. This is a more affordable, yet still relatively pleasing 1795 half cent that will nicely represent a scarce and conditionally challenging die marriage. Manley Die State 1.0, with the denomination HALF CENT complete. This die state is described as "Extremely rare."
