1778 William Pitt Memorial Medal. Betts-523. Silver. AU-58 (PCGS). 37.2 mm. 319.9 grains.<strong> </strong>Lustrous and attractive deep gray with blue and pale violet overtones. Only light handling is seen, none troubling, though a scattering of small nicks are present in the reverse fields. Rarely encountered in silver, and not especially common in bronze either.
