CHINA. Yunnan. 3 Mace 6 Candareens (50 Cents), ND (1916). PCGS MS-64. L&M-862; K-674; KM-Y-480; WS-0693. Commemorative type featuring a side view of General Tang. Tied for second finest certified with three other examples on the PCGS population report, only two finer (MS 64+). Dripping with originality, this beautifully preserved example boasts a bold crisp strike with frosty devices and satiny surfaces. The surfaces of this near-Gem are smooth and display a lovely rich gray patina with sunset hued iridescence that accentuated the devices adding to its originality and pleasing appearance.
