The underprint consists of dark yellow ink while the border is made up of dark black ink. The reverse of the note displays a violet-red/brown-green design, with the bank building at center. Above the building is the bank name with the written-out denomination below, with "1" counters in each corner. Fully issued examples of this 1 Pound note are next to impossible to acquire, and it might be sometime before another example is offered to the public. From the Don Allen Collection.
