1886 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-66 (PCGS). CAC. A richly original specimen, both sides exhibit a mixture of very soft olive-gray patina that is somewhat deeper on the reverse. Appreciably mirrored in finish with a full strike to virtually all design elements. One of the more eagerly sought Proofs in the Liberty Seated quarter series, the 1886 is associated by date and issuing mint with a circulation strike issue that saw just 5,000 coins struck. Proof mintage for the date is 886 pieces, and the present survivor is finer than most.<br data-uw-rm-sr="" role="presentation" style="box-sizing:border-box;color:#333333;font-family:Avenir, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;" /><br data-uw-rm-sr="" role="presentation" style="box-sizing:border-box;color:#333333;font-family:Avenir, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;" />
