1943 Washington Quarter. MS-67+ (PCGS). CAC. A simply mesmerizing Superb Gem with intense coloration on the obverse that deserves to be experienced in-hand. Vibrant swaths of magenta and emerald green dominate the complexion, accompanied by hints of olive-gold and electric blue in areas. The color is backlit by intense satiny luster across untroubled surfaces. This beauty comes from a mintage of nearly 100 million circulation strikes though is surely among the most desirable survivors known. Just 5 have been graded finer by PCGS, but no numerical assessment can convey the astonishing eye appeal. Approval by CAC helps to emphasize the superior quality.
