民国十年徐世昌像纪念银币。齿边。正面为徐世昌身穿正装，反面为北京协和医院的凉亭，底下有铭文。极受欢迎，曾经轻微清洗，但光泽充盈，赏心悦目，诱人的金橄榄色包浆。此版应为样币，而且存在用不同金属铸打的异质版。本是为北京协和医院开幕而打铸，凉亭下无铬文，同以刻铸授赠者的名字。后来因为雕刻难度太高，改铸纪念币三字。"

Obverse: President Hsu Shih Chang in formal attire facing slightly left; Reverse: Pavilion at Peking Union Medical College Hospital with legend at the bottom. Always popular and desirable, this lightly cleaned specimen exhibits tremendous brilliance and eye appeal despite the designation, and also features some attractive golden-olive toning.
An incredibly popular and desirable type believed to have been a pattern issue, it now appears that these were, in fact, more medallic in nature, and meant to be given out upon the opening of the Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). Initially designed with a blank field below the pavilion for recipients names to be engraved, the design was altered to contain the three struck characters instead, as the engraving proved difficult on the initial batch.
