Lot of (15) Massachusetts and New York State Militia Uniform Buttons.All are brass with original shanks, sizes 23 mm or 25 mm, conditions Extremely Fine or About Uncirculated. The (11) Massachusetts buttons feature a standing Native American, holding a bow in one hand and a downwards pointing arrow in the other, with MASSACHUSETTS around. The (4) slightly smaller New York buttons depict an eagle standing on a rock with the word EXCELSIOR beneath. Both groups of buttons are of multiple obverse/reverse die combinations.
