Engraved Fraternal Piece Fashioned out of an 1851-Dated Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. The reverse of the host coin depicts a pictorial engraving of a shield with a helmet at the top, crossed axes behind the shield and a plant with the letters K and P on each side. This is the symbol of the Knights of Pythias, a separate fraternal organization than that of the Masons. </em>The original pinback mounting has unfortunately been removed. From the Steve M. Tompkins Collection.
