Love Token Bracelet Made of 11 Dimes or Dime-sized coins. Most are Barber and Liberty Seated dimes, but also included are one British threepence and one Hungarian 10 Krajczar. All the coins are engraved, some with initials, one with Mother, one with WILEY and one with MIZPAH / 1890. The last gives us a probable year of manufacture. The Hungarian coin is engraved NOCH SIND DIE TAGE DER ROSEN, which translates to THERE ARE STILL DAYS OF ROSES. This love token bracelet undoubtedly belonged to a Jewish family from Eastern Europe, given the inclusion of the Hungarian piece. Here is an amazing numismatic relic of the immigrant experience in America. From the Steve M. Tompkins Collection.
