Clark was a silversmith working in Providence, RI from about 1813 through 1868 and is listed in the city directories during that time period. He also worked as a jeweler and cleaned and repaired watches. He is listed at 27 Cheapside in 1824. At one point he was in a partnership with Lorenzo D.
