1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. O-117, T-3. Rarity-4. Two Leaves. EF Details--Damage (PCGS).Plenty of satiny mint luster is seen on pale silver surfaces, with some golden-apricot and powder blue undertones over the upper left of the obverse. The strike is well centered and nicely executed with most of the design elements sharply to fully rendered for the assigned grade level. A series of tiny digs in the center of the obverse explains the PCGS qualifier, light haziness over the upper right portion of that side also noted. Here is a more affordable, yet still rather appealing EF quality example of this historic design type from the early U.S. Mint half dollar series. Tompkins Die Stage 3/1.PCGS# 6052. NGC ID: 24E7.
