1895 Barber Quarter. MS-67 (NGC).Top-of-the-Census Superb Gem quality, both sides are so smooth as to border on pristine. Brilliant apart from wisps of the lightest iridescent gold, the surfaces allow ready appreciation of razor sharp striking detail and intense satin luster. The 1895 is a bit more obtainable in Mint State than the 1894. Both issues qualify as "better dates" among circulation strike Barber quarters from the Philadelphia Mint.
