Deep purple ink makes up the geometrically heavy border design, and intricate lathe work in light blue ink is found making up the under-printing. The color remains attractive for the assigned condition. This denomination is the most difficult for collectors to acquire from the 1948-51 series, and are seldom offered in public auctions. We expect to see spirited bidding on this lot, and would not be surprised if our high estimate is met & exceeded. Mostly even circulation is noticed, with two stains seen on the reverse.
