Type VI countermark; crowned Y.II. within circular indent. Issued by decree of 20 December 1834, suppressed 31 March 1837 (By Decree of 1 February 1836). Applied to the obverse of an 1832-Go MJ Mexico Republic 8 Reales. A bit of glossiness betrays the old cleaning but the toning provides nice contrast and the countermark is fully impressed.
